Sabres Rebuild “Making Strides”1
The comparisons between Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel are going to keep going all season long, and the debate over who should go first (McDavid) will also continue to be out there in its own lesser extent.
So far, the comparisons have brought nothing but great news to Sabres fans. And if you’ve been banking on tanking, the fun has really begun, as Eichel has now joined the McEichel Highlight Reel.

Many of you certainly remember the strides and stickwork that Connor put on display at the FNC not so long ago:

Since then, fans have been sort waiting for something special from Eichel. He’s put up the points and dominated as a freshman at Boston University, but people have wanted to see something spectacular – a play truly on par with McDavid. Well, last night he delivered this:
His already legendary first three strides are on full display there, as he turned on the jets to turn around the three defenders that he flew by, before delivering a nifty feed for the BU score.
The Sabres are all but guaranteed one of these two franchise altering prospects. While the losing part of this rebuilding process is so very, very hard – the strides that our potential first round picks are making are so very, very exciting.
Here’s a couple more gems from Eichel (he’s just not getting enough press around here.)

A little bit of advice: make sure you take full advantage of those cheap StubHub tix this season. It’s gonna get pretty pricey around here when one of these two phenoms is flying up and down the ice at the FNC.
